Bol These documents pertain to historical pirate activity in Africa & the East Indies and were used to research and publish Sailing East. It is the hope of the author that these verifiable documents, held in professional archival sites, will be used rather than Charles Johnson's unverifiable The Robberies and Murders of the Most Notorious Pirates. This historical fiction has been used for more than 300 years to the detriment of truthful historical inquiry. Any secondary work with no citations is unreliable, especially when the author is known to have manipulated the available data for the purpose of selling books.
