Phytochemical analyses in the quantitative section, emphasis was placed on the lowry method for protein estimation, a widely accepted technique based on protein-copper ion complexation. Additionally, we conducted prior estimation of several key phytochemicals including alkaloids, phenols, flavonoids, steroids, sugars, starches, and amino acids to assess the broader nutritional and therapeutic value of the selected plants. To evaluate their potential anticancer activity, Sulforhodamine B (SRB) assaywas performed on COLO-205 (colon cancer) cell lines using extracts of the selected weed plants.
