Bol L'idée de réaliser ce livre-photo m'est venu à l'écoute du titre de la chanteuse anglaise Dido : Northern Skies (album Safe Trip Home de 2008), titre dans sa version remix (Rollo Remix). Idée notamment impulsée par l'ambiance qui règne à la fin du titre, musique évocatrice de ciels proches et lointains, légers, lourds, menaçants ; de ciels shakespeariens. Le climat océanique du Nord-Ouest dans la plénitude de sa beauté et de sa force. JD.The idea for this photographic book came to me while listening to Northern Skies by British singer Dido, from her 2008 album Safe Trip Home, in its version remixed by Rollo (Rollo Remix). It was particularly the atmosphere that unfolds during the final moments of the track that inspired me. Music that evokes skies both near and distant, at times light and airy, at others heavy and threatening; almost Shakespearean skies, where beauty, mystery and power intertwine. An evocation of the oceanic climate of north-west France, in all the fullness of its beauty and strength. JD
