At night he roams the streets of Paris in rented cars, invents late night meetings outside the city and stumbles into a hotel room at dawn for a restless sleep. The only reason behind all this is his unique obsession: his daughter, Sophie. He can t stand to see her grow up, become independent, to see other men desire her. So every time she leaves the house, he follows her, spies on her, protects her? At home, a catastrophe is brewing. Marthe, his wife and Marie his younger tomboy daughter are both getting tired of being ignored and neglected. When Sophie decides to move in with her lover, he loses it.
