Paramesari

Suddenly, Sansar Chand's face began to lose its color. His eyes were now closed, and he was smiling. His cold breaths were making Parmesari's heart pound. Then he rose and came over Parmesari. Suddenly, he placed both his hands, one over the other, in the middle of her chest and began pushing hard against it, as if he wanted to kill her. His eyes had now narrowed. Parmesari was trying to stop him. She wanted to say, "Leave me, let me go." But her voice seemed to have vanished somewhere into a distant darkness, and it now felt impossible to find it. Parmesari began waiting for death.
