Paradise Motel

The asphalt holds the memory of every muffled cry. When the fuel tank runs dry in the middle of the night on the desolate expanse of Route 66, the Paradise Motel seems the only lifeline. Dim neon lights, a cozy room and a hospitable smile at the front desk promise the respite the exhausted driver so desperately needs. But fatigue is a deadly counselor. In the basement of that time-forgotten complex, true hospitality is revealed: industrial freezers store the macabre accounting of dozens of tourists whose cars remain parked out there. Caught in a maze of flesh and iron, the new guest needs to fight inch by inch so as not to become just another cut in the steel of that family. A desperate escape through the New Mexico desert, an explosion that reduced the empire of horror to ashes and the false security of a new life thousands of miles away seemed like the end of the nightmare. But the dust of the road never knows whose path it crosses. And on a dark byway, with the pointer beating in reserve, the past is ready to charge the bill to the last bone.
