In 1920s India, in the secluded village of Vedhandhur, 11-year-old Kanjan lived under the iron rule of his father—a man who dictated every aspect of their society. One fateful event sparked a burning question in Kanjan’s mind: “What is s*x?” Determined to find answers, he sets out to watch an adult film in the nearby settlement of Kattur Hamlet. Unlike Vedhandhur, Kattur is a vibrant hub of art and culture, yet its people endure oppression, water scarcity, and the burden of being deemed inferior by the ruling hamlets.
