Òwe Yorùbá Explained: An Ancient Philosophy Conveyed Through Proverbs, Axioms and Aphorisms

Òwe Yorùbá-the Yorùbá proverb was conceived as a channel to provide more understanding of proverbs and to highlight their philosophical context. When Western philosophy doubted the existence of African philosophy, the burden on African thinkers was to provide what the body considers to be philosophy. This book is one of the answers to this challenge of proof. Òwe Yorùbá aims to clarify the users' intentions to communicate and the message that the hearers perceive. The purpose of this book is to enlighten and encourage Yorùbá youth to understand the original structures of Òwe, critique the processes, and evaluate them on the basis of reason. My job is to help the future remember what was created then and why we created them that way.
