NOS ANCÊTRES LES EKANG N'NA: Origines migratoires et généalogie de la noblesse Bebeusseum du village Mboukok à Santchou, dans la région de l'ouest Cameroun is a book that explores the origins and history of the Bebeusseum community of the Ekang-teuh clan, a Bantu entity located in western Cameroon. Given the paucity of writings on this community, this book proposes an anthropological and historical approach to retrace its migratory path.Through in-depth analysis, four hypotheses are put forward to explain the origins of this community:- the great migratory movement of the Ekang n'na people around the 13th century- The expansion of the Bantu people- The mythical origins of the Mbo, based on oral tradition- Onomastics (anthroponymy and toponymy)The Bebeusseum of the Ekang-teuh clan play a central role in the history of the Mboukok village, holding political and traditional power since the early 18th century. This book makes a significant contribution to understanding the history and culture of this community, and more broadly, the sociological components of the West Cameroon region.
