One Moon, Twelve Suns

On a Mediterranean island, an unexplained virus begins to alter human consciousness. What appears to be a medical crisis soon hints at something far more unsettling. Synèssia, a Kasser officer temporarily inhabiting a human body, observes Earth from the shadows, bound by strict rules of non-interference. Yet as events escalate and human and alien destinies intertwine, she is forced to confront questions her own civilization never taught her to ask. Blending science fiction with introspection and emotional tension, this novel explores identity, free will, and the fragile connections that arise when different forms of life collide. Beneath the conflict lies a quieter story about choice, loss, and what it means to belong to a world, to a body, or to another mind. A story of alien perspectives, human resilience, and the thin line between observer and participant.
