Sometime in 1968, on the cover of a 2nd Grade textbook, i wrote my first poem, not long after my eighth birthday. It was dedicated to my mom. i remember looking at the few lines on that cover and thinking nothing much about it. Little did i know. How little did i know! More than 50 years and hundreds and hundreds of poems later, i guess i can call myself a poet. The subjects of my poetry have been mostly people, especially the few times love has struck my heart, 'tis true, but many topics have also aroused my interest. The poems contained in this book are arrows shot at a number of topics, from love to hate, from God to God, from my family to my friends. Truth is, i love them all.
