Novel Approach for Natural Product Separation from Plants

Natural products derived from plants are widely used in pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and agrochemical industries. These compounds, including flavonoids, alkaloids, terpenoids, and saponins, are valued for their diverse physiological functions and broad application potential. Traditional extraction techniques, however, often suffer from limitations such as high solvent consumption, low efficiency, and environmental concerns. Therefore, the development of advanced, sustainable, and efficient separation methods is critical to furthering their utilization.This Special Issue, "Novel Approach for Natural Product Separation from Plants," seeks to address current research gaps and promote the advancement of innovative separation technologies. It consists of eight peer-reviewed research articles that explore a variety of topics and methodologies central to the extraction, purification, and analysis of plant-derived natural products.
