Norman Clunderbuck

A few years ago I bought a little Gonk from a shop and I called him Norman. Then, one day, his surname somehow evolved. I played a little joke in our house that every time something went wrong - for instance, someone had spilt something or one of our lovely cats had chucked something off of the worktop - I always blamed poor Norman. These mysterious little toys who appear so innocent, I felt had a certain mischief about them... perhaps when no one was looking! Later, I found a little friend for Norman and I called him Niblet. Again, I don't know why - the name just came to me as he is so small. Anyway, one evening when the rain was lashing against our windows, a little story came into my mind which gave Norman a whole new lease of 'life', shall we say!
