Nobody Came To Save Her

No one teaches you how to survive when the people who were supposed to protect you become the source of your pain. For years, Megan Travis carried the weight of a childhood shaped by trauma, silence, addiction, abandonment, and wounds that never fully healed. Behind closed doors, she learned lessons no child should have to learn: that love could disappear, that trust could be broken, and that sometimes the people you need most are the ones who never show up. But survival comes at a cost. As the years passed, the pain of her past followed her into adulthood, shaping her relationships, her self-worth, and the way she saw herself. Haunted by memories she couldn't outrun and searching for a sense of belonging she had never known, Megan was forced to confront a painful truth: Nobody was coming to save her. In this raw, honest, and deeply moving memoir, Megan shares the story of a little girl who endured the unimaginable, a woman who refused to give up, and the journey that taught her how to find her voice after years of silence. Nobody Came to Save Her is more than a story about trauma. It is a story about resilience, healing, forgiveness, and discovering that even after a lifetime of heartbreak, it is possible to reclaim your life and become the person you were always meant to be. For anyone who has ever felt abandoned, unseen, or broken, this book is proof that your story does not end with what happened to you.
