N-7: A Wormhole Investigation - Book Two

N-7The book has been sent. After the events of Causality As A Lifestyle Choice, the survivors of the first investigation believe they are ready to observe the next cluster. They are wrong.Cluster N-7 receives the book, opens it, and immediately refuses to behave like a case study. As household life, work calendars, delivery systems, police printers, university archives, criminal logistics networks, swans, drones, and one very tired Samoyed become entangled, the observers discover that watching is no longer safe, because they are being watched too.Meanwhile, Oxchesterford's impossible departments begin to overlap, Sir Fohn's criminal empire proves both useful and vulnerable, Julie from work turns out to be something far more troubling than a bad lunch companion, and Hafthor's role in the mystery becomes darker, deeper, and more costly.Funny, unsettling, fast-moving and increasingly cosmic, N-7 is the second volume of The Wormhole Investigations: a story about observation, agency, household survival, and the danger of trying to explain too much too soon.
