My Amazing Subtracting Book: A Fun First Guide to Simple Subtraction: 15

Make subtraction click for your little learner! My Amazing Subtracting Book is a bright, friendly first guide to simple subtraction for children ages 3-6 - Book #15 in the My Amazing Learning Books series by children's author Mark Tucker. Inside, kids discover what the minus sign means and build confidence one small problem at a time, from 1 - 1 all the way up to 10 - 10. Each page pairs a clear, cheerful equation with a picture story they can count along with: a cookie disappearing from a plate, birds flying off a branch, kites floating away, frogs jumping into a pond, balloons lifting into the sky, and more. Every illustration is designed so young children can point and count what's left - turning an abstract idea into something they can see and touch. At the end of the book, a "Your Turn!" practice page and a mini subtraction chart let children show off their new skills, and a bonus tip on counting backwards gives them a simple trick they can use anywhere. My Amazing Learning Books is a growing collection of cheerful early-learning titles made to help small readers take their very first steps in reading, math, and the world around them - collect them all, and look for the standalone book The Missing Cookie Capper from the same author. Perfect for preschool, pre-K, and kindergarten - at home or in the classroom.
