Bol This study focuses on the disease known in the Mbosi language as "mwanza", which is defined as a skin disease. Its main aim is to identify the perception, causes and therapeutic recourses of the Ngahé population in relation to this disease, in order to draw the attention of public authorities and health agents to the problems of emerging diseases in many societies. We also wanted to show the contribution of anthropology to societal issues, etc. Observations and individual interviews were carried out with 60 resource persons, ranging in age from 17 to 70. The results reveal that mwanza is perceived by society as a mystical illness, a spell caused by jealousy, generational conflicts, theft, etc. As a result, therapeutic remedies are often not available. As a result, therapeutic recourse is centered on the "Nganga kissi" fetishists or the "Nganga Zambé" churchmen. Prevention and control require a combination of good behavior, living together and respect for the code of ethics.
