Muse Drones (LP)

Muse brengt met Drones een nieuw album uit op 5 juni 2015. Het album is mede-geproduceerd door frontman Matt Bellamy. Bellamy beschrijft het concept als volgt: “To me, 'Drones' are metaphorical psychopaths which enable psychopathic behaviour with no recourse. The world is run by Drones utilizing Drones to turn us all into Drones. This album explores the journey of a human, from their abandonment and loss of hope, to their indoctrination by the system to be a human drone, to their eventual defection from their oppressors.”

Drones van Muse is een album met thema’s van menselijk verlies, indoctrinatie en bevrijding. Het gaat over de reis van een persoon van verlatenheid en wanhoop naar indoctrinatie door een systeem en uiteindelijk verzet tegen diens onderdrukkers. Het concept en de titel verwijzen naar metaforische drones die gedragingen mogelijk maken en de wereld controleren.
