Snowcountry The MSR Elixir 1 is a solo tent designed for ease of use, durability and a comfortable amount of space, making it a strong option for newer backpackers and anyone looking for a versatile shelter.Inside, the tent offers 1.70 m² of living space with a rectangular floor that accommodates modern wide sleeping mats. The canopy combines mesh and solid fabric to balance ventilation with privacy. The no-curve door uses zippers that can be operated with one hand and close to a single point, making it easy to find the opening even in the dark. Storage is organized with interior pockets that include cable ports for charging cords and headphones, along with an overhead gear loft for items you want within reach. The setup is straightforward thanks to a color-coded pole and clip system. Strong aluminum poles provide a stable structure, while a PFAS-free water-repellent coating and taped seams help keep the interior dry. The rainfly adds a vestibule for storing gear outside the sleeping area, and the door includes a StayDry™ gutter to manage water. A kickstand vent improves airflow, and durable metal corner hardware ensures reliable use over time. A footprint is included.
