The trail leads to a husband-and-wife construction team with dreams of becoming filmmakers. But they're not making romantic comedies. They're producing snuff films-and their next production could feature Fat Elvis. With Fat Elvis positioned to infiltrate the operation, Moonlight is recruited by the police to go undercover and bring the filmmakers down. But what begins as a murder investigation soon exposes something far more dangerous: a snuff film empire financed in part by Mexican drug cartel money.
