Modern Lich

Dani Morgan (xe/xem) is new to The City and having trouble with life in general. Xe is unemployed, behind on rent, and can't get past xyr writer's block. All the jobs xe is qualified for are taken by those in the supernatural community who are clearly better suited to the tasks. After all, xe is only human. After a night out with friends to help clear xyr mind, a chaotic bout of violence brings unexpected opportunity in it's wake- Dani finally gets a job. Xyr new position is as an Assistant to a guy named Jack, who just so happens to be the only registered Lich in the continental U.S.. Among the dilemmas of learning a new occupation, unraveling years of misfiled paperwork, and grappling with a pig-headed landlord, Dani also has to deal with Jack himself. He is a snarky, undead Necromancer with strange old-timey proclivities... who might also be involved in an unprecedented string of vicious Zombie attacks.Wrangling with xyr own self-confidence issues, Dani needs to thread through supernatural culture with care in order to keep Jack's business (and xyr source of income) afloat. With the help of friendly zombies, a punk-rock werewolves, and a brooding bureaucratic vampires, Dani discovers that maybe xe isn't as powerless as xe thinks.
