Mined Graduation 2017

The 2017 graduation catalogue of the Design Academy Eindhoven, this richly illustrated volume comprises bachelors and masters texts and detailed profiles of many student projects. Its theme, "mined", is a play on words which explores the changeable and interrelated definitions of "mine", "mind", and "mined". A mine, for instance, is an abundant source, yet because something is mine does not mean that it cannot be yours. It takes time, patience, and perseverance to dig up a treasure, while studying mined fragments can lead to a different perspective. The extensive content covers contextual, social, and information design, as well as approaches to design curating and writing.
