Miles Kane keert terug met een zinderend nieuw album getiteld 'One Man Band'. Het album verschijnt op 4 augustus via Virgin Music / Modern Sky Records. Het eerste aanbod van het album is het uitbundige indie-banger 'Troubled Son'. Miles keert terug naar zijn gitaarheld roots op One Man Band terwijl hij zich concentreert op grote hooks en nog grotere anthems. Scherp, aanstekelijk, urgent en tot in de puntjes verzorgd boordevol meezingmomenten, het is Miles op de top van zijn kunnen. Een zeer pers oonlijke plaat, Miles keerde terug naar Liverpool om aan het album te werken, terwijl hij terugdacht aan de reis die hij tot op heden heeft gemaakt. 'Making the album back in Liverpool with my family really helped to bring this out of me,' zegt Kane over het schrijfproces. 'We left no stone unturned. Sometimes you have to go backwards to go forwards, and this album helped me rediscover why I picked up a guitar in the first place.
