Miguel Ramos: The Power of Dreams

Miguel Ramos' life story is an inspiring example of resilience through adversity. Growing up in Puerto Rico, Miguel learned how to persevere through hardships. Bolstered by the love of his family and staying true to his values, he faced any challenge in front of him undeterred. When Miguel was a teen and his father died suddenly, Miguel's part-time job stocking grocery store shelves turned into a full-time job to help support his family. With a strong work ethic and an unshakeable belief in himself, Miguel worked his way up through many impressive careers, all while attending college at night. Eventually, he made his way to Minnesota, but knowing only a little English, Miguel could only get a job cleaning floors. And again, he worked hard and soon became a top salesperson, mentored students in the St. Paul school district, worked for the Minnesota Twins, and started his own consulting company helping others. Miguel Ramos is a difference maker. His story is a shining example of how keeping true to one's values is a powerful way to face adversity and maybe even to change the world.
