Have you ever taken a really close look at the works of Rembrandt? At first glance, they look nothing like the work of Dick Bruna, but if you take your time, you?ll see more similarities than you might think. That?s what this book is all about. Take a look! In 2019, it will be 350 years since the death of Rembrandt van Rijn. This will be commemorated with a full programme of activities and special exhibitions to be held in the Netherlands over the course of the year. On 15 February, the exhibition All the Rembrandts of the Rijksmuseum will open at the Rijksmuseum. To celebrate the Year of Rembrandt 2019, Mercis Publishing and the Rijksmuseum teamed up to create the book miffy x Rembrandt, designed by Irma Boom Studio. The book is also available in Dutch.

Bol

The Rijksmuseum is a Dutch national museum dedicated to arts and history in Amsterdam. It displays works by Ruisdael, Vermeer and Rembrandt, as well as many others. The Night Watch by Rembrandt is, perhaps, the most famous piece in the collection.
