Midnight Picnic

The second tale in the Finding Home series follows Sparkle the rat and her brothers, Jerko and Ferdie, on another exciting adventure. Their peaceful life in the winding tunnels and secret passages of the old willow tree takes a thrilling turn when Mimi the chipmunk visits and recalls a mysterious legend. Could the legend be true? What secrets lie hidden in the forest? What begins as a quiet visit soon unfolds into a journey of discovery for Sparkle and her brothers. From cozy hideouts to storm-swept woods, the siblings face hardships, misunderstandings, and a daring quest to find a mystical waterfall said to glow under the full moon. As nature tests their resilience and friendships bloom in unexpected places, Sparkle, Jerko and Ferdie learn that the most precious gifts are often not the ones they set out to find―but the ones that quietly find them when they are not looking.
