Method of Surgical Treatment Giant Duodenal Ulcers

The study presents research results on the treatment of giant duodenal ulcers (GDUs) complicated by bleeding, stenosis, and perforations. The main focus is on radical surgical methods utilizing laser technologies. The advantages of using lasers at various stages of surgery, including the mobilization of ulcerated areas, their resection, and the application of gastroduodenoanastomoses (GDA), are analyzed. Laser equipment significantly reduced the frequency of complications such as suture failure, anastomosis, inflammatory processes, and mortality. Comparative data on the outcomes of traditional and laser-assisted surgeries are provided. The analysis concludes that radical surgical treatment of GDUs in combination with laser technologies ensures higher treatment efficiency and better postoperative outcomes.
