This debut novel exploits the choice laid before the empath in an African Society. The deep exploitation behind their ordeals and the structure around them that ensures their perpetual slavery to a mode of living that is neither befitting nor dignified for any human being confined to a particular way of living designed to exploit them of their gifts and God-naturally given talent, and the society seems to agree with this status quo without batting an eye, while some are afraid to confront this exploitative system, some are fighting it tooth and nail to make sure its stops. This menace has come to stay because it seems to be passed on from generation to generation, which has ensured its survival for a long time. The question it begs is: is it right to allow a few in our society to suffer this fate despite how choiceless they are regarding what was bestowed on them from birth, or is it a menace that needs eradicating due to its nature of operations? How a whole being is influenced to act in a way contrary to their own beliefs but submit to the will of others, employing occultic means to influence and control an empathy. >Dear Empath, You are stronger than you will ever really comprehend; be steadfast in your commitment of faith and hold on to your empathy like a sleeve that must not drop from a shoulder. Trust in your resolve should be paramount; societal vices and tribulations are distractions, but necessary to help build character.
