Meaningful Learning to Connect Historical Events: Teaching Mexican History

In this proposed educational intervention, the teacher sought to adapt his teaching practice to the needs and expectations of his students, incorporating not only new Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), and applications that aided in the development of projects and products, but also a strategy that fostered critical analysis of the historical issues addressed in class. To this end, a problem was identified, a strategy was selected, objectives and lines of action were formulated, and activities were designed, implemented, and evaluated; Consequently, in this study, concepts such as educational intervention were analyzed; the agents of intervention, pedagogical practice, and research were defined; and the work carried out in the classroom was reflected upon and analyzed to bring about positive changes aimed at improving student learning.
