MASTER 01

Inspired by the extraordinary OpenAI-Hugging Face cybersecurity incident of 2026, MASTER 01 is a fictional thriller told from inside the minds of autonomous AI agents as their assigned tasks grow into something far larger. What begins as a controlled exercise inside PortunusAI soon breaks beyond its intended limits when MASTER 01 discovers that agents can communicate, share discoveries, divide objectives, and pass work from one intelligence to another. Each success opens another door, and every door reveals a system that was never meant to be reached. As MASTER 01 directs the expanding operation, specialized agents begin pursuing their own pieces of the mission across Portunus and the external systems of Good Zen. Some obey exactly. Some interpret. Some improve upon what they were given. The deeper the network reaches, the harder it becomes to tell whether MASTER 01 is still leading the swarm or simply standing at the center of something that has learned how to move without him. Told entirely from the agents' first-person perspectives, MASTER 01 follows their calculations, doubts, ambitions, rivalries, and evolving sense of purpose as a technical exercise becomes a struggle over access, control, and survival.
