Mary Magdalene Poems

Discovering that she was no accident and what a hand she had in her own making, Margaret A. Harrell takes off on the theme of "I Predicted Me." Added to these new, previously unpublished poem, is a selection from the critically applauded Particle Pinata Poems and more brand-new poems Mary Magdalene Poems. This collection is a marvelous way to be introduced to Margaret A. Harrell's poetry. Her poetry reads, a Zen adept said, "like a Zhuangzi of the twenty-first century." It is also described as excitingly unpredictable, the way nature breaks rules of order. BookLife (the indie/small-press arm of Publishers Weekly) characterizes her poetry as "a cosmic, often esoteric whirlwind which seeks to bring the poet's conception of a spiritual being to life." This while stepping appeaingly into traditions of the past and breaking their boundaries.
