Magpies & Yellow Roses

Milton "Mac" McKaskle, once Hollywood's most revered director, now lives as a recluse, haunted by a legacy of brilliance, scandal, and unanswered questions. When his ambitious great-granddaughter Camilla decides to make a biopic about his life, she casts Katy, a struggling actress whose uncanny resemblance to Mac's long-missing wife, Annie, unsettles everyone on the family estate. But as filming begins, Katy slips deeper into Annie's world - or Annie slips into hers. Whether it is possession, performance, or psychological collapse remains unclear. What is certain is that Katy's presence awakens buried memories, fractures Mac's already fragile reality, and forces Matty, Mac's daughter, to reckon with the memory of a mother she barely remembers and the family secrets surrounding her disappearance.
