Magi

"I've known Ben Kuzemka for several years now, but have nevergotten to examine his work as a writer as much as I'd like, until now. What I enjoyed most about this latest collection Magi is its ability totransport readers to wherever Kuzemka happens to find himself in aworld held together by memories, held together, to keep from fadinginto the past. His poems are intricate, fascinating, and deeplyemotional, really what more could you ask for?"- John Dorsey, Author of 100 Mornings"Ben Kuzemka creates a world in Magi that is, by turns, humorous, tender, and so quietly heartbreaking that I found myself pausing, even looking away. These are unmistakably contemporary poems, filled with references to Instagram and Costco, yet somethingtimeless is always at work beneath the surface. This book sings itsancient hymns in mall parking lots and discount stores, revealinggrace in the ordinary. Kuzemka's quirky, beautiful world of Magi is amarvel, a wonder-book, and a privilege to enter."- Raphael Maurice, Author of Against Music
