Love & Desserts-The Doughnut Rivalry

Charlotte Dean has spent years competing with The Golden Glaze, the doughnut shop across the street from her family's Honeydrop Doughnuts. But this year's Annual Doughnut Festival is personal. Charlotte is determined to win-and she's willing to do whatever it takes to beat her biggest rival.Unfortunately, that rival is Zoe Golden.Zoe is infuriating, competitive, ridiculously talented, and-much to Charlotte's annoyance-very attractive. Their families may have been battling over doughnuts for years, but Charlotte and Zoe have taken the rivalry to a whole new level with their savage social-media exchanges. Then they make a bet.If Honeydrop wins the festival, Zoe has to spend an entire year praising her rival's doughnuts online. If The Golden Glaze wins, Charlotte has to stay out of every festival for a year.Easy enough.Until Charlotte and Zoe are paired together for a university coding project.Spending hours together building a video game should be unbearable. Instead, the arguments turn into laughter, the rivalry starts becoming friendship, and Charlotte finds herself wondering whether she might want something from Zoe that has nothing to do with doughnuts.Because falling for your biggest rival was never part of the plan. And neither was discovering that the girl she wanted to defeat might be the person she's been looking for all along.
