Bol Jersey, 1942 and World War 11 rages across Europe. It is two years since the Germans invaded the beautiful Island of Jersey. For Joe, Spinner, Clem and Ginger, memories of carefree days before the invasion have begun to fade as the reality of occupation begins to bite. The sea has become like prison walls, as the outside world is gradually cut off. Spinner has not seen her mother for over two years. Clem, now 16 years old, is angry and upset. His brother has been killed in action and his father is unwell. Then Joe and Clem discover that Russian prisoners have been brought to Jersey to build bunkers for the German army. The prisoners are beaten, starving and desperate. The gang have a plan. What if they can help the prisoners? Risking life and limb, they embark on an adventure to help in any way they can. But will this make it worse for them and what dangers lie in store? Lobster Blue is the sequel to A Cake for the Gestapo. Winter, 1942, and eighteen months since the Germans invaded the beautiful island of Jersey.
