The book begins with the definition of inheritance and explains its pillars, conditions, reasons and prohibitions, as it clarifies the meaning of inheritance in language and terminology, and explains the conditions that must be met for the proof of inheritance, in addition to explaining the reasons for inheritance such as kinship, marriage, and loyalty, and its prohibitions such as slavery, murder, and different religions.
