Yuri Leving (b. 1975). His poems have appeared in the journals Vozdukh, Oktyabr, TextOnly, and Jerusalem Journal, as well as in the almanacs Vavilon, Dvoetochie, and others. He is the author of Station-Garage-Hangar: Vladimir Nabokov and the Poetics of Russian Urbanism (St. Petersburg: Ivan Limbakh Publishing House, 2004; shortlisted for the Andrei Bely Prize), Education by Optics (Moscow: Novoe Literaturnoe Obozrenie, 2010), and A Stamp with a Zeppelin: A Storyboard Novel (St. Petersburg: Perlov Design Gallery, 2022), among other books. Since 1992, he has lived in Jerusalem, Los Angeles, Washington, DC, and Halifax. He teaches Russian literature and film at Princeton University. This volume includes selected texts written over the past twenty years.
