Life is Only Ever Short

Life is Only Ever Short is a call to return to what it means to "be". It is a book about where we stand in the scheme of infinity, mortality and minfulness. It is a book for adults that was written in the style of a children's book to speak directly to the inner child. We often make the mistake of thinking that we have infinite time and chances.With the rise of social technology, we ever so often turn to distractions as a means of turning away from, numbing or trying to outsmart some of life's most sobering truths to our detriment-- mainly, the fact that life is inevitably quite short and we don't have infinite time or opportunities. However, sometimes the simplest truths are the hardest and heaviest for us to accept because they force us to sit with our own impact on others and the world around us, the ways in which we connect, our inevitable mortality, as well as our uncertainty about the future. It is these truths that can be incredible catalyists for growth, compassion, self-reflection and change.
