Lethal Comrade

He wanted a second-chance for a date, she wanted to survive their kidnapping... World's Most Handsome (and humble) Man, Rodeo Jones, never met a woman his no-fail charm couldn't seduce. That is, until the virally-enhanced soldier mixes work and pleasure with the woman he is tasked to protect, Tachi Moreno, with deadly consequences. They become pawns in corrupt CFO Beau Lequire's need for revenge. Trapped in a sadistic prison, Rodeo must shield Tachi, neutralize Lequire's unnatural army, and resist false hope that a future exists for a smart, beautiful woman and a damaged soldier. Plus-sized model Tachi does not have time for another cocky guy angling for a fling. Her career is taking off on the catwalk, and swaggering Rodeo with his secret military team doesn't fit into her plans. But when Rodeo sacrifices himself to save her, Tachi questions his intentions ... and her own heart. Before she can evaluate her growing feelings, they must escape by fleeing deep into the Okefenokee Swamp, where the biggest threat might not be Lequire.
