Landscape Design for Urban Parks: Visual and Functional Enhancement Strategies in Tabriz

A city is an existential entity composed of historical, natural, cultural, and economic layers that humans have systematically constructed and imbued with meaning. Yet, how is it that a city's meaning sometimes manifests beauty and brings tranquility, while at other times it unsettles the human spirit? Each city, based on its physical condition, activities, history, and social fabric, adopts a unique essence that ultimately shapes its identity. Urban spaces and textures are no exception to this rule. Every space possesses an identity derived from its distinctive characteristics-positive or negative-that represents it and shapes the perceptions of its audience. In fact, given the reciprocal relationship between humans and their environment, and the impact of urban spaces on citizens, proper attention to and design of the city's visual appearance can be an effective step toward improving cultural and social conditions and fostering a sense of identity among individuals.
