La belle Hélène

Hélène, a sixty-something with a well-ordered life, sees her world turned upside down... The luminous and solitary Hélène leads an orderly life. Every week she goes swimming with her friend Laetitia, and runs a book appreciation workshop, introducing her students to her favourite authors. She is widowed but has lost none of her sensitivity or her imagination. Then two things throw her balanced life into disarray. Marion, one of her students, disappears and the man who's been courting Hélène invites her to join him in Corsica. Will she take up this opportunity for a new life?
