Kingdom Culture: Discovering Who You Were Created To Be

We belong to a Kingdom we often fail to reflect. Not because we are not trying hard enough.Because we do not fully understand who we are, what Christ accomplished, or how life in His Kingdom actually works.Much of the Christian life is lived inside contradictions we rarely stop to examine. We say we are saved by grace, then try to become complete through performance. We say righteousness is a gift, then live as though it must be maintained by behavior. We say we have been adopted, yet relate to God as though our belonging is still being evaluated. We say Jesus finished the work, then spend our lives trying to finish ourselves.Paul confronted this same contradiction in Galatians 3: having begun by faith, believers were now trying to become complete through human effort.Kingdom Culture: Discovering Who You Were Created to Be examines these contradictions and traces them back to a deeper issue: misunderstanding.Drawing from Scripture, biblical word studies, pastoral experience, and personal story, C. S. McCormic explores identity, covenant, grace, righteousness, holiness, repentance, the renewing of the mind, Holy Spirit, spiritual authority, and the Kingdom of God.The central question is not simply, "How can I become a better Christian?"It is, "What becomes possible when I finally understand what Christ has already made true?"Transformation is not produced by greater effort alone. It flows from a renewed mind that increasingly sees God, ourselves, and His Kingdom as they truly are.We do not reflect the Kingdom by trying harder to imitate it.We reflect the Kingdom as we come to understand the King, our place in Him, and the life we have already been invited to live. You were never meant merely to believe in the Kingdom. You were created to carry its culture.
