Kindergarten Reading Fluency Elevating

Elevate early literacy skills with K-1 Book 2 Consonant Clusters. The scope and sequence of this program is closely aligned with the UFLI phonics progression and many other structured literacy phonics programs.There are 3 differentiated lessons for each of the following skills: - Short a Clusters (CCVC and CVCC)- Short e Clusters (CCVC and CVCC)- Short i Clusters (CCVC and CVCC)- Short o Clusters (CCVC and CVCC)- Short u Clusters (CCVC and CVCC)- Mixed Short Vowel (CCVC and CVCC) Review >Engaging leveled passages are provided for fluency instruction and practice. The three decodable reading passage options for each skill are approximately 10 words, 20 words, and 30+ words in length. Fry high-frequency words are embedded. Students are given multiple opportunities to read and write words with the targeted decoding skill while connecting them to meaningful text. Each lesson includes activating prior knowledge (oral language), high-frequency word review, phonemic awareness with the target skill, word-level fluency practice, connected text practice, comprehension questions, phoneme-grapheme mapping of the targeted skill, and dictation. Students graph their progress, which increases motivation, and provides immediate feedback on their success. This program can also be used as an intervention, prevention, and extension for kindergarten and up. The lessons are complete and ready to go, making them perfect for reading interventionists, classroom teachers, paraprofessionals, tutors, and homeschool settings. In addition to being aligned with the science of reading, it incorporates multiple strategies recommended for students with reading difficulties, including dyslexia (IDA).
