Kelly Elders: This Is Our Journey: A Personal Tribute and Life Lessons

We are kin-one people, one God, one family, bound by one sacred story. Ours is a legacy both raw and rich, rooted in faith and carried forward with grit, grace, and plenty of laughter. Through every trial and triumph, our elders stood tall-not just because of their strength but because of who stood with them. Look at God.When the world said "No way," they made a way. When doors were closed, they leaned on faith, held each other up, and pushed forward anyway. From red dirt roads and strawberry fields to church pews and front porches, they built lives that speak louder than words. What some called impossible, they called promised. Look at God.This story is not just about what they endured; it's about what they overcame. Every blessing, every breakthrough, every moment of joy in the middle of the storm is proof of what happens when faith leads and love holds. If you want to know what resilience looks like, what grace under fire feels like, and what legacy in motion is, look at us, then look at God.
