Keeper of the Kite

An angel is telling this story -- and he knows how it ends.High above the flat, sunbaked plains of West Texas, a heavenly Raconteur named Antyl watches over the people he loves most: Leon, a boy the orphanage never wanted anyone to adopt, and Will, a boy raised in the shadow of a secret and dangerous invention called NOFLAK. Their paths -- one running toward freedom, one running toward purpose -- are being woven together by a hand neither of them can see. When a mysterious buyer purchases all of Big Bend National Park and renames it Bigger Bend, promising a lawless land of total freedom, the quiet lives of two families are pulled toward a reckoning generations in the making. Secrets about a mother, a son, and an inheritance no one expected come due -- at a place called Balanced Rock, where the truth can no longer stay hidden.Told with humor, tenderness, and a narrator who sees eternity the way we see Tuesday, Keeper of the Kite is a story about the string that never lets go -- the one tying us to the ones who love us, no matter how far we fly.If you've ever wondered whether you were truly chosen, truly wanted, truly free -- this book was written with you in mind.Pick up your copy today and meet the Keeper.
