Juste un peu de temps

Being a mother, a working woman, still attractive and full of smiles? Sophie is 35, has a wonderful husband, three beautiful children and a job she loves. She's the woman everyone else envies. And then one day, perfect Sophie disappears. Leaving only an enigmatic note, "Just a little time", which baffles her husband Loïc. Because he's attentive, isn't he, loving, happy to help around the house. Could she have a lover? The children stay calm, though, confident their mother will soon be back ("I'll always be here for you," she tells them every evening when she puts them to bed). They make the most of the chaos to go to bed late, playing on tablets and stuffing their faces with sweets! Meanwhile, Sophie treats herself to a seaside break: for a few hours she switches off her phone and her maternal instinct, with all its attendant guilt and demands, just long enough to breathe and remember who she is. But what happens when she chances across a former lover? A novelistic approach to one of society's big issue: mental load.
