Just Patty: (Merjironest Press Edition)

In which Patty pulls many a prank, spills a lemon pie, befriends a burglar, goes to the circus, and hides herself in an onion patch.A book for every Jean Webster fan, this prequel to Patty Goes to College includes references to her other works, including Jermyn and Constance, "Conny", from Jerry Jr. popping up, and even a relative of Jervis Pendleton from her most famous novel, Daddy-Long-Legs!Thank you so much for considering this specific copy of Jean Webster's Just Patty. This edition was released out of pure desperation. Though Daddy-Long-Legs and its sequel are still in print, Jean Webster's other works are often left by the wayside. If they are in print, the books are poorly formatted, with tiny font and huge, white pages. In short: a terrible reading experience. Something had to be done! Jean Webster, queen of wit, deserved to be better preserved than that! So, rereleasing her work, among other great old books, became a passion project. We hope you enjoy reading and holding onto these little books!
