JELLY BRYCE: THE LEGEND BEGINS

As seen on the American Heroes Channel (AHC) hit series, American Lawmen! Before he was an FBI icon, he was a boy from the Oklahoma wilds with a preternatural gift. Delf "Jelly" Bryce grew up with a pistol in his hand and a sharp eye for the horizon, mastering the art of the shot long before he ever wore a badge. On a fateful drive toward a quiet college life, a wooden sign advertising a police shooting match caught his eye. It was a simple detour that would rewrite history. By the end of the day, Delf had outshot the professionals; by the end of the year, he was hunting Oklahoma's deadliest outlaws in an era defined by Tommy guns and lawless violence.Gritty, authentic, and meticulously researched, The Legend Begins is the pulse-pounding first chapter in the trilogy of America's deadliest gunfighter. Step into the mind of a man who looked death in the eye-and always drew first. ___________________________________________________________________________________"Ideally, I suppose every writer of history hopes someone will take their work and improve upon it. I cannot praise Mike Conti's Jelly Bryce trilogy too highly. He has breathed life into Jelly Bryce in ways my biography could not; ways in which the dry facts of newspaper articles, police reports, personnel files and even interviews of some friends and relatives have fallen short. I only wish Jelly could have read the trilogy. I believe he would have approved." --Ron Owens Author of "Jelly Bryce, Legendary Lawman" (Word count approximately 68,000)
