Is Hell Torture?: The Devil, and Earth’s Destruction

Most people believe in a place called hell, which is believed by most Christians to be a dwelling of fire, where the devil lives with his demon angels. Moreover, it is believed that all humans who did not submit to Jesus Christ during their life will spend eternity in these fires, being tortured forever. This book questions these beliefs, and others like them. Readers will be challenged to take a fresh look at 'clearly understood' Bible teachings. The author's approach is straightforward in that passages used will be juxtaposed with observations. Here are a few of the questions that will be answered: - "Why would God create humanity with freedom of choice, knowing they would sin, only to make them suffer if they do not choose him?"- "If God is love, how can He torture people forever because they rejected him during a comparatively short life on earth?" and "Does the punishment fit the crime?"- "Wouldn't a loving God be more active, e.g. personal miracles, with each human to make sure they do not end up suffering for an eternity?"
