Iron Flowers: Anthology of Poems

In 'Iron Flowers', internationally acclaimed poet and essayist Susan Blanshard delivers a luminous, deeply reflective exploration of the human spirit, embracing, ephemeral nature and emotional landscape, with harsh reality. The anthology captures the delicate tension between light and dark, memory and presence. Blanshard uses her signature lyricism to examine what is inherited, possessed, and dispossessed across epochs of time. Through striking, sensory imagery, her prose and poems transform the natural world into a powerful metaphor for resilience, grief, and sudden revelation. Each piece acts as a quiet history, weaving sophisticated poetic structures which speak to the soul. 'Iron Flowers' is a profound testament to the fragile beauty of existence, making it an essential read for lovers of contemporary poetry and visionary prose.
